Fans of both Vault Comics and World of Darkness are getting a special treat this weekend. The publisher and the entertainment brand have announced their partnership with Worldbuilders to host a special one-shot live streaming charity game on Saturday, December 5 from 12:00-4:00 PM PST based on Vampire: The Masquerade. The game will be part of Worldbuilders’ 2020 fundraiser to raise money for Heifer International, an organization with “a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way.” The one-shot game of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition will stream live on the official World of Darkness Twitch channel.

Worldbuilders is a non-profit that raises money for charities they respect that might otherwise get overlooked by the geek community. According to Vault’s statement, “the Worldbuilders team is full of geeks, gamers, and book nerds, and people who tend to respect intelligent solutions–whether it’s a rock-solid magic system in a favorite fantasy series or an airtight game mechanic that’s easy to learn and offers amazing variety. Over the last ten years, Worldbuilders–with the support of the community of awesome geeks–has raised more than $9.6 million for Heifer International.”

The cast slated to participate includes author Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicle), LA By Night cast members Erika Ishii and B. Dave Walters, and Vampire: The Masquerade Winter’s Teeth co-writers, Tini Howard and Blake Howard. The game will be based on the events and characters of Vampire: The Masquerade Winter’s Teeth, the critically-acclaimed comic book series from Vault Comics, and is an official canon story.

Every $10 donated by live stream viewers will enter their name in a draw to win thousands of prizes, including signed or rare books, games, collectibles, and other geekery donated by a wide array of Worldbuilders’ sponsors.
