Vault Comics’ upcoming series Vampire: The Masquerade #1 will now have two painted cover variants by artist David Mack (Kabuki, Cover, Daredevil). Co-written by Tim SeeleyTini Howard, and Blake Howard, the new title features interior art by Dev Pramanik and Nathan Gooden, colors by Addison Duke, letters by AndWorld Design, and designs by Tim Daniel. In addition to Mack’s covers, fans can look for entries by Aaron Campbell and Gooden.

The variant covers are available in two different printed versions. The first, in a lush purple and blue, will be a standard, open order variant. The second will be a blood-red version special deluxe variant printed on thick card stock, with silver foiling and spot-gloss highlights. This one retails for $9.99.

Vampire: The Masquerade is a legendary property with a mystique & mythology of epic art,” said Mack. “I’m thrilled to add my take to this world of imagination.”

The book features a dual story format that will converge for one epic narrative. Each issue of the series will also include exclusive material for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition, the tabletop RPG from Modiphius Entertainment. Materials let readers play alongside events from the comics in their own game.
