Can’t get enough Bloodshot? 2020 is here for you. On Tuesday, Valiant Entertainment announced its team-up with Titan Books to release an official novelization of the upcoming Bloodshot movie, starring Vin Diesel in the titular role. The book, authored by successful tie-in writer Gavin Smith, will be based on the screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer and will feature an exclusive short story entitled “Into the Fire.”
Here’s the book synopsis:
After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – “Bloodshot” – without any memory of his previous life.
But some things can’t stay buried, and Ray refuses to back down when his memories begin to surface. Haunted by the face of his family’s killer, he will stop at nothing to take his revenge and discovers a conspiracy going deeper than he could have possibly imagined…
Sony Pictures’ Bloodshot is slated to hit theaters on March 13, 2020. The Bloodshot movie novelization (ISBN 9781789093087) will retail for $8.99 in stores and online on February 4, 2020, just one day after shipping begins for the complete Bloodshot digital comics collection.
