It’s one of the year’s oddest projects…whoever thought we’d see a movie about a solo Transformer? But this is the reality we live in now…and with Kubo and the Two Strings director Travis Knight helming it no less.
Bumblebee is actually a prequel to the very first film, so we’ll learn how the car morphing Transformer came to be…in this instance, he teams up with 18 year old Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) after finding refuge in a small California junkyard.
The film also stars John Cena, as well as Jorge Lendenborg Jr, Pamela Adlon, and Rachel Crow. It hits theaters on December 21, 2018. The exact same day as Aquaman…now there’s an interesting box office battle.
