The Hasbro Action Brands panel started by talking about the current made-to-order product, the Dreadnoks Murder Machine vehicle, that’s currently up on Hasbro Pulse. They had a prototype on display the previous night at their Press Event. They emphasized that this is one of their biggest G.I. Joe vehicles they’ve made, measuring 21.3 inches long without its flame effects add-ons.

Next was a new Walmart exclusive figure (that’s also on Hasbro Pulse) that was announced before the panel – Night Force Sneak Peek. They made some updates to this character to modernize him and freshen up his look. They also added that, in the Classified universe version of the story, he’s related to Richard “Crystal Ball” King, an ally of Cobra. They also showed the audience the newly announced Dreadnok Flatline with full renders of the turnaround and all of his accessories.

The next wave of G.I. Joe Classified figures of early 2027 was announced. Hardball, a new version of Shipwreck, Daina of the October Guard, and the H.E.A.T. VIPER. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of G.I. Joe: The Movie, new Retro Card figures were shown. Chuckles, Zarana – sister of Zartan and a member of the Dreadnoks- and Tunnel Rat. All were made to match how they look in the movie compared to their previous G.I. Joe Classified figures released prior.

Closing out the G.I. Joe section were images of the new deluxe Ambush figure with a large set of accessories, along with soft goods for his camouflage. A new Ninja Force two-pack with Storm Shadow and Billy, Cobra Commander’s son, who’s joined G.I. Joe and Snake Eyes’ Ninja Force team in spite of his father.

Now, to Transformers, they started with the exclusive-to-Walmart Retro Carded G1 Decepticons Bugbite and Exhaust. The Age of the Primes is getting its last wave in 2027, starting with Deluxe class figures of Skyguard, G2 Wildrider, Breakaway, and Alpha Bravo. Most of these should work with the previously released Nexus Prime – the Prime of Combination. Along with a new combiner frame to be released so that people won’t need to use Silverbolt as the basis to make his full combiner form.

In Voyager Class, they announced Guzzle, a member of the Wreckers based on the Brawl (Combaticons) mold. Cybershark was shown next with some cool-looking metallic paint. Leader Class has a version of Onyx Prime, The Deceiver, a version where Shockwave goes into the past, kills, and assumes this Prime’s identity. It’s colored in Blues and Purples to match Shockwave, compared to the earlier Orange version release before.

Also a surprise is a Machine Wars Starscream, a line originally created a year after the Beast Wars line that was exclusive to KB Toys stores in the past; it had reimagined versions of the G1 characters as vehicles while Beast Wars was also happening. They also mentioned they planned on finishing the G2 version of Menasor by putting out the G2 version of Motormaster, while acknowledging the demand for a reprint of the G1 version of Motormaster from the fanbase.

They moved to Studio Series, with some highlights being Shreadhead from the current Energon Universe, Alicon and Wheelie from the ’86 movie, Shockwave from Transformers One, G1 Red Alert from the animated series, Goldfire from the Transformers Decepticons game, and Nautica from the IDW era comics.

With the 20th anniversary of the first live-action Michael Bay-helmed Transformers movie being next year in 2027, they are making all-new versions of the five Autobots from the movie. They only showed Jazz, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Ironhide, while they had Megatron on display at the Press Event. They also showed off another Titan Class Dinobot from Age of Extinction – Scorn; the huge spinosaur is impressive to see in person.

They showed a two-pack of Optimus Prime and Elita One called the ‘Til All Are Loved Valentine’s Day Pack. It’s quite cute and hilarious, with a date picture adorning the packaging. Also, we are getting a Transformers: The Movie cassette six-pack with all of the Autobot Blasters’ Cassetticons, even those from the design pages that didn’t end up in the movie.

They ended the panel talking about the success of the made-to-order Decepticon Seekers Storm Pack and that they will do more in the future. They also stated that a Transformers HasLab is planned and will be announced in the future, and that it will have an extended time frame compared to previous ones. A Soundwave Cassette pack is in the plans as well.
