Marvel comics released a bevvy of teasers in January for the All-New Wasp, something pertaining to Spider-Man and more. It seems the teasers have been payed off through Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day offerings including an additional look at the All-New Wasp and a slight tease at the upcoming Spider-Man story.
The books include a prologue to Civil War II, and a tease at Captain America’s return in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe. Each title features brand new material, (mostly) retaining the creative teams for each series including Nick Spencer (Ant-Man) and Jesus Saiz (Swamp Thing) on FCBD Captain America #1 and Brian Michael Bendis (Alias) and Jim Cheung (Infinity) on FCBD Civil War II #1.
Mark Waid (Daredevil) and Alan Davis (Excalibur) are launching a back-up that includes the All-New Wasp in Civil War II, with Dan Slott (The Superior Spider-Man) and Javier Garron (Star-Lord) kicking off Spider-Man’s Dead No More teaser story in the back of the Captain America comic. CBR ran the covers, details and solicitation information on the story.
