Here it is, the first trailer for James Mangold’s follow-up to The Wolverine, which uses Millar and McNiven’s Old Man Logan as a jumping-off point and shoots us decades into Wolverine’s future all scored to the Johnny Cash cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt”:

Needless to say, I am very into this trailer, which strikes all the appropriate Old West imagery the setting requires and in some ways is the perfect compliment to the samurai “East meets West” echoes that accompanied the previous film.
Logan hits theaters March of next year.
