Webcomic alert: Happy 10 year anniversary, Neko the Kitty
Creator Gar Molloy wrote to us to say it was the 10 Year anniversary of his webcomic Neko the Kitty, with over 900 strips completed. We're not too familiar with the comis, but it has a kitty and that's good enough for The Beat, especially when it means kitties doing the happy dance to celebrate.

You know how one day you had never heard of a thing and then the next day you heard about it three different places from completely different sources? Thus it is with The Beat and Connie Sun, an aspiring cartoonist who draws in between her day job in "higher education." Despite the "aspiring part" her comics are sweet and charming and will send you into the weekend with a smile.

Comic Rocket now indexes 9000 webcomics
A while ago we told you about a new service called Comic Rocket that had indexed over 2000 webcomics, and functioned as a portal to aggregate your webcomics reading in one handy place. Well since then they've added some 7000 comics by teaming up with Comic Fury, a free web-hosting service for webcomics. PR below:
