Speedy Ortiz Announce new Album via DeForge comic

Indie band Speedy Ortiz have announced a new album called Foil Deer and they chose to do so via a cute Michael DeForge comic. Because when you think "indie" and "deer" you think "Michael DeForge." The album from the Northhampton, MA-based band drops April 21 from Carpark Records.

FBI has 7,526 page long file on a cartoonist

The FBI has amassed a 7,526 page file on cartoonist/essayist Molly Crabapple, as she tweeted the other day. Crabapple's lawyer has filed to see the papers under the Freedom of Information Act, and the FBI will reviews them 750 pages a month and pass along ones they deem fit for Crabapple to see.

What has Crabapple done to merit such attention?

Descender, one of the mighty Image armada by Jeff Lemire and Dsutin Nguyen, has just been picked up by Sony after what THR called "a competitive bidding war."
