A new and potentially awful chapter in Con Wars opened up today. The Honey Badgers are the ladies auxiliary of the MRA (Men's Rights Advocates) groups, and MRA groups are largely affiliated with GamerGate, the endlessly annoying group that has been fighting diversity behind a shield of anti-censorship for the last since last summer. This is sad but not surprising—given the insane rise in real estate prices in San Francisco, it was only a matter of time before the Cartoon Art Museum, which occupied a spacious and accessible spot near Market Street has been evicted so its space can be converted to something expensive and greedy. The museum will stay open until June 28th, and in a release they note that the move was not unexpected and they had already begun preparations, just like Cutter and Skywise.

The Syfy movie about a tornado full of sharks has quietly taken over the imaginations of people coast to coast so it is only natural that the 'Nado would touch down in Riverdale! Ferrante with art by Archie's Dan Parent, who often writes these milestone issues but he's multi-talented.

Cartoonist Ty Templeton—generally considered one of the funniest people of his generation—is in stable but critical condition after suffering a heart attack wife, KT Smith reported on Facebook. Templeton, 52, suffered the attack yesterday but in an update today she reports he's in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator, but expected to be taken off of it tomorrow.

In a move that will surprise no one, Julia Pohl-Miranda has been promoted Director of Marketing at Drawn & Quarterly, where she will continue to oversee day-to-day publicity operations, author tours, festivals and events, and remain a calm and encouraging presence at D&Q's booth wherever she goes.
