There’s a new threat hanging over Steven and his friends in the upcoming Steven Universe: The Movie, and a new poster for the film reveals our first look at the villain. It was previously announced that the movie will be a musical, co-produced by Chance the Rapper, show creator Rebecca Sugar, and Cartoon Network Studios. A brief teaser trailer showed an upside-down heart crystal gem and a cackling, shadowy figure with mouse-like ears.

In the poster, we get a fuller look at this new villain as they hover over Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. Entertainment Weekly shared the exclusive first look on Tuesday. From the looks of things, a time jump may factor into the movie, which premieres this fall. Steven looks older in the poster, for one, and the beach house boasts some new updates. Plus, the Crystal Gems are even more fashionable than usual.

Steven Universe: The Movie hits Cartoon Network later this year before heading to DVD. The movie’s official soundtrack, featuring songs by Chance the Rapper, Patti Lupone and more, will get both a physical and digital release. In the meantime, check out the poster below and cross your fingers that a full trailer will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con International next week; that seems like the likeliest premiere time and place.
