Fifteen years ago this week, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith welcomed us to the world of Anakin Skywalker’s harsh reality. As we continue to celebrate Star Wars this week by re-watching the prequels (yes, they exist), we’re back with another round-up of activities you can take part in while social distancing. Here are a few other things you can wrap your head around besides trying to debate which side gets the cookie.

§ Catch the cast and crew of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World on Twitter for a watch party with fans on Wednesday, 5/20, at 8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PT. This movie has some of the most enchanting storytelling techniques coupled with 8-bit video-game themed music; it went on to become a pop-culture stockpile for memes that are still relevant today. Today’s watch party will include appearances from screenwriters Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall, Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills) and Ellen Wong (Knives Chau). Stream the movie on Netflix and get your questions ready for the watch-along!

§ Zack Snyder will be hosting a watch party and Q&A for 2013’s Man of Steel today at 11 a.m. Eastern. Now’s your chance to ask him directly about his favorite cuts of meat, or about where he gets his hair cut. All your favorite cuts of Snyder.

§ If you’re not already a member, join the League of Graphic Novel Educators and get access to their Book Club. The Club will be discussing Ms. Marvel: No Normal by G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona during their inaugural meeting this Thursday, May 21st at 4:30 PT via Zoom.
