Horror lovers, the Small Press Spotlight has a new one for ya this Fall. Second Sight Publishing prides itself on being the “home for horror” and by the looks of their new miniseries hitting this fall, it’s true. Dream Town Amusement Park is described as a “wild mix of fantasy and horror.” The four-issue series comes to you from writer Anthony Zicari (Death by Life) and artist Claudio Sepulveda (Grimm Fairy Tales).

Check out the synopsis from the publisher:

“When the happiest place on Earth turns into a nightmare, who will survive?”

In a world where cartoon characters coexist with real people there is a wondrous theme park where dreams come true: Dreamtown Amusement Park. The park opens and everything seems to be fine, everyone is enjoying themselves, it is the happiest place on Earth.

But this theme park holds a deep and dark secret and soon the theme park is transformed into an evil nightmarish world. Park goers are trapped and the park has come alive. Fighting for their lives and trying desperately to escape, who among them will rise up and become the hero they were ultimately destined to be, enter RIKY FOX, the mascot of the park, but does he have what it takes to save humanity from the real life nightmare that Dream Town Amusement Park has become?”

“This title fit right in with what we are trying to bring to the masses as a horror centric company. Fantasy and horror are two genres that in my opinion have not yet been explored as deeply as say superheroes,” says CEO Bradley Golden. “This is indeed a welcome addition to our growing catalog of horror titles.”

Dreamtown Amusement Park is slated for a Fall 2022 release. Check out some art below!
