Secrets of the Goat People #5 is set to debut next weekend at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF). Megan Purdy, founder of Women Write About Comics, tweeted the announcement Monday morning with a cover image.

Published by the Women Write about Comics imprint Bleating Heart Press, Secrets of the Goat People #5 is part of an anthology publication which gives lesser known creators a platform. Each issue contains roughly 40 pages of media including poetry, original fiction and, of course, comics, all focusing on one theme. Previous issues were subtitled Voice, Anger, Resistance and Searching; the subtitle of the newest issue has yet to be announced. SotGP #5 is edited by J.A. Micheline, a writer who’s been published at WWAC, The Guardian and VICE. The cover, meanwhile, is done by Eisner Award winner Shivana Sookdeo (This is the Litany, Flyover Country).
Although you’ll have to wait a few days to check out the next issue Secrets of the Goat People, all four previous installments are available at Bleating Heart’s Gumroad page, for just $5 Canadian a piece.
