Mad Cave Studios is continuing to build its shared Underworld Universe with Victoria Jaguar, a new five-issue supernatural horror series from the CEO of Mad Cave, Mark London. The series features painted interior artwork and main covers from Marco Rudy, whose previous work includes The Winter Soldier, and Justice League Dark, with lettering done by Pat Brosseau, who has worked on Dick Tracy.

The Underworld universe has continued to grow since 2024 with titles like Revolution 9, Hour of the Wolf, Exist City, the crossover event Endless Night, and Mister Nemo. This newest installment broadens the mythology of the stories by shifting towards ancient legends and immortal guardians.

A man tormented by impossible nightmares journeys across the world in search of the mythical Victoria Jaguar, an immortal guardian chosen by the Night Sky itself centuries ago. But when Victoria uncovers the truth behind his visions, she realizes the nightmare is real—and an unseen enemy has already set its sights on her.

The story centers around an immortal protector who now faces a new threat in a tale that is said to “blend haunting mythology, supernatural horror, and breathtaking painted artwork while expanding the ever-growing Underworld Universe”

Victoria Jaguar #1 (of 5) hits local comic stores November 11, with Final Order Cutoff on October 19. Issue #1 will have five total covers, including a Foil, as well as a Glow-in-the-Dark variant.
