A special preview night treat at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 was the first look at the new Ignition Press Pavilion located across the street from the convention center.

On Wednesday night, press was treated to a tour, thanks to Tinis with Tini Howard, where we enjoyed drinks, a sneak peek at con exclusives, a meet and greet with top creators hanging out at the pavilion, and more.

A must-see this weekend is John J. Pearson’s live painting. The artist best known for The Patron will be chatting, signing, and painting two large canvases live for guests to view. 

The Patron Live Painting Demonstration will be open Friday, July 24 from 2-4 p.m. PT and Saturday, July 25 from 3-5 p.m. PT.
