As we prepare ourselves for the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader, Warner Bros. has teamed up with Amazon for an Amazon Luna-exclusive, 4-player co-op video game.
Announced during the Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 on Thursday, Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles allows players to join a GCPD task force alongside Detective Renee Montoya to track down Gotham City’s iconic Super-Villains across 11 episodes.
Different minigames will challenge players to investigate, interrogate, and deduce their way through crime webs woven by Gotham City’s most devious criminals including Scarecrow, Babyface, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Dollmaker, Lynx, the Music Meister, and The Joker.
“We are excited to unveil the Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles game for Amazon Luna, launching in tandem with Season 2 of the hit Prime Video series, Batman: Caped Crusader,” said J.C. Connors, Director of Amazon Game Studios. “And now with Luna’s newly expanded availability through Prime Video, players with a Fire TV will be able to jump straight into the game seconds after watching the show, all within one unified entertainment experience.”
Hamish Linklater and Michelle C. Bonilla return to their roles from the TV show as Batman and Montoya, as well as the addition of Matthew Needam as the voice of the Joker. Check out the trailer:
Whether this Luna exclusive will find an audience is anyone’s guess, given the platform’s past struggles and the recent backlash surrounding its decision to remove access to previously-purchased games. At the very least, it could be a fun companion piece for fans of the critically-acclaimed animated series.
Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 and Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles debut on July 31.
