Absolute Black Canary will bridge the gap between arcs in Absolute Green Arrow, taking place specifically between issues #6 and #7. Absolute Green Arrow, originally billed as a six-issue limited series, has been green lighted for expansion, giving the creators more to work with for both the one-shot and its predecessor.

DC’s Absolute line earned the publisher seven of 10 wins at the 2026 Eisner Awards on Friday, including Best Single Issue/One-shot, Best Continuing Series, and Best Limited Series.
