Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld has certainly gotten a signal boost from the very successful film. And for those who enjoy his merry chat, you’ll get to hear his own commentary about the film on a track on the upcoming DVD. Liefeld and director Tim Miller will explain everything there is to know about the superhero pose, crushing on Hugh Jackman and kitty litter.
The DVD comes out on May 10. Other features include a commentary track by Ryan Reybnolds and real heroes, screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, a gag reel and something ominously called Deadpool’s Fun Sack.
Deadpool has made $757 million worldwide (with a $58 million budget), and changed the landscape for R-rated action films. Liefeld certainly has a lot to talk about.
