When James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas‘s BOOM! Studios book Wynd was first announced, it was as a series of three graphic novels. That plan changed in May when the publisher announced a surprise-launch for a five-issue miniseries of the first graphic novel. Now BOOM! has provided The Beat with an exclusive preview of Wynd #5, which they’re calling “the final issue of the first arc of the original series.” Based on that wording, plus the sales success of the series — the first issue went back to three printings — it seems likely that the future volumes of Wynd will also be released as miniseries.

Studios, the final issue of the five-issue miniseries is due in stores at the end of October, with a final order cutoff date of next Monday, October 5th.
