Announced today at DC’s “DC Rebirth What’s Next?” panel at NYCC, and per our ongoing live-blog of the event that Alex is currently manning, Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka revealed that Bilquis Evely will be taking over the even issues of the title after Nicola Scott wraps up the “Year One” arc with issue #14.
Currently, Scott is providing art on flashback issues that detail Diana’s origin in current continuity, while Liam Sharp is on the odd-numbered issues telling a modern day tale, and the two dovetail together quite beautifully (it’s arguably the best of the Rebirth line thus far).
Evely, whose art has been seen in both the Legends of Tomorrow and DC Bombshells titles, will be on-board for next week’s interlude story focused on The Cheetah.
While I can’t wait to see what flair Evely will bring to WW it’s sad to see Scott go.
