TokyoPop has dated new Disney Manga Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Battle for Pumpkin King for September 19, 2023. The 128-page book collects the five-issue miniseries written by Dan Conner, Shaun McLaughlin and D.J. Milky, with art by Deborah Allo and Roberto Scalia.

A prequel to the 1993 movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Battle for Pumpkin King will tell of the rivalry between Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie in their bid to be crowned the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town.
