Like a Phoenix from the ashes…in our recent obituary for MTV Geek we noted that the NY Post’s Parallel Worlds site also seemed to be gone. And indeed, a NY Post website design claimed its young life. However, undeterred, editor Dan Greenfield has teemed up with Asbury Park Comicon’s Cliff Galbraith for a NEW SITE, 13th Dimension. In an introduction, Greenfield writes:

In addition to the coverage I brought you at Parallel Worlds — more on that another time — this is a place where comics creators themselves will write about our favorite art form. They’ll talk about what they love and what they don’t. They’ll talk to you and they’ll talk to each other.
We have quite a line-up assembled already and you’ll see those names crop up in the next couple of weeks as we move past this soft launch.

Oh, and you’ll get plenty of material from knowledgeable folks who chronicle the worlds of comics, sci-fi and pop culture.

So far the site has rolled out with repurposed (and much more attractive) content from the old Parallel Worlds. We have to applaud these two plucky kids and their entry into the horrific exciting world of running a comics website. Neither Cliff nor Dan strikes me as the kind of person averse to some hard work, which is what it takes to keep this kind of thing running. Good luck, guys. You’ve been added to my (obsolete) RSS reader, so I’m with you in spirit.
