DC Fandome reveals a first look at Ava Duvernay‘s series Naomi. Starring Kaci Walfall, the series follows the titular character based on the DC Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis, David F. Walker, and Jamal Campbell.
The first look sees Walfall’s Naomi in class when she gets a text from her friend revealing that there is something big happening in the square involving Superman. Grabbing her skateboard, she leaves class to see what is happening. But along the way, she collapses due to some mysterious reason, and above her, she sees the flash of Superman flying across the sky.

Naomi will debut in 2022 on The CW.
