Marvel’s X-Men Legends series launched earlier this year, featuring new stories from past X-title creators. For the title’s fourth arc, Marvel has announced that writer Larry Hama will return to Wolverine, for a story picking up where his ’90s run on the character left off. Artist Billy Tan will join Hama for the story, which will team Logan with Jubilee against Lady Deathstrike. No colorist or letterer for the story were named in the announcement, though the promo art below appears to have been colored by Chris Sotomayor.

Here’s how Marvel describes Hama and Tan’s forthcoming X-Men Legends arc:

When two young mutants disappear, Wolverine and Jubilee set off for Japan to track them down. But Lady Deathstrike and the Hand have their own designs on the duo, and it’ll take no small measure of blood, sweat and adamantium to change their mind, kicking off a deadly international mutant conflict!

Larry Hama wrote the first ongoing Wolverine series for seven years, from 1990 until 1997. His run on the title came as the character’s popularity skyrocketed, and the latter half of his time on the title included the entirety of Logan’s post-“Fatal Attractions” ‘bone claws’ period. Billy Tan is also no stranger to the world of the X-Men, having illustrated a run on Uncanny X-Men in the mid-2000s.
