The famous X-Factor team of Louise and Walter Simonson is returning to the classic mutant team in April. Today, Marvel revealed the husband and wife comic creator power couple will be coming onboard the recently-launched X-Men Legends series for a story revisiting their fan-favorite X-Factor run from the ’80s.
Announced in November, X-Men Legends is described by Marvel as a title that “will feature the greatest X-Men creators returning to their original runs with all-new, in-continuity stories to tie up loose ends, resolve longstanding plot danglers, and uncover long-hidden truths that will shake up the past, present, and future of Marvel’s mutant Super Heroes.” The first two issues of the series will resolve the infamous “third Summers” plotline from the ’90s courtesy of writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Brett Booth.
