Simpsons figures designed by top pop culture fine artists and sold by Kid Robot.
Is there nothing not to love in that sentence?
Kid Robot is teaming with icons artists Kenny Scharf and Ron English for new Simpson vinyl. Scharf has designed a 6” Bart figure while English has designed two 3” figures, Bart Grin and Homer Grin. The Scharf figure retails for $59.99 while the English go for $14.99 each.
The figures are rolling out along with a new 3″ Mini Figures Simpsons release from Kid Robot — all on sale online in December.
However two Mini Series Figures, Surly and Dizzy Duff, will be out next month.
Scharf and English are well known for their work fusing pop culture, advertising and fine art imagery. AND they both appeared — along with Shep Fairey and Robbie COnal—on the 2012 Simpsons episode “Exit Through the Kwik-E-Mart.” So it’s all come full circle.
Here’s a preview of the figures.
