On social media, the Panel Gallery said:

“We’re very pleased to be hosting an exhibition of Jock’s Batman: One Dark Knight artwork.

“This will be a 4 week exhibition with over 40 pieces on display showcasing Jock’s unique style and energy.

“Jock is an industry leading artist and designer working in not only comics but also Hollywood.”

Batman: One Dark Knight was a three-issue series where Jock took the reins entirely to write and draw a Batman story under the mature DC Black Label imprint. It was published from December 2021 to July 2022.

The Panel Gallery describes itself as “the first art gallery in the UK to specialise in original comic art”. Opening December 2021, it has thus far held exhibitions of the work of Steve Dillon, Jess Shrubb, and from military veterans’ anthology Coming Home. The owner Jeff Chahal has worked in comics retail for over 20 years and has been running the annual NICE Comic Con in Bedford, UK for nearly a decade. NICE is also scheduled for a return September 2-3, 2023 after a pandemic hiatus.
