Damn Them All, the BOOM! Studios horror series from writer Simon Spurrier, artist Charlie Adlard, colorist Sofie Dodgson, and letterer Jim Campbell, is getting an upgrade. The publisher announced today at the ComicsPro retailer summit that the series is being upgraded from a miniseries to an ongoing series following the release of the title’s sixth issue next month.

Here’s how BOOM! Studios described Damn Them All back when the series was first announced:

Meet Ellie “Bloody El” Hawthorne: occultist-for-hire. Following the death of Ellie’s uncle, an infamous magician and occult detective, the 72 devils of the Ars Goetia are mysteriously freed from their infernal realm. Now it’s up to Ellie to track down each of these exiled demons and damn them right back to Hell by any means necessary… holy water, conjuration, or just her trusty, rusty claw hammer.

Damn Them All launched back in October 2022 as a six-issue miniseries. The first two issues of the series, all of which shipped with multiple covers, sold out at the distributor level and went back for second printings.

The series is the latest BOOM! Studios title to get the upgrade from miniseries to ongoing, after other hit titles like James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera‘s Something is Killing the Children and Stephanie Phillips and Flaviano‘s Grim

Damn Them All #6 is due out in stores and digitally on Wednesday, March 22nd. No word yet on when the series’ 7th issue will arrive – look for news on that soon.

  1. That’s excellent news! Hellblazer fans should jump on this one since DC has pretty much neutered their Vertigo imprint, and it’s great to see Charlie Adlard’s art again! So happy to see him drawing something besides zombies.
