After unveiling the Happy Hogan Marvel Legends action figure last week, today Hasbro announced yet another classic MCU figure as part of its Hasbro Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Series- Obadiah Stane as played by Jeff Bridges in the first Iron Man film.
Despite the unequivocal success of the Iron Man that launched the juggernaut that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bridges has said in interviews that he found filming quite difficult comparing the experience to a “$200 million student film.”
It’s highly doubtful that Bridges is eager to reprise his character anytime soon, Obadiah’s death notwithstanding (this is comics after all where death has no meaning). Then again, Natalie Portman said she was done the MCU in an interview in 2016, and is set to reprise her character Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Also announced was a new Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Captain America figure sporting the shield he wielded during the Battle of Wakanda from Avengers: Infinity War.
