walking dead 94
By Paul Mellerick

Indie seems to be having something of a renaissance at the moment, with a lot of books selling out and going to second print. Walking Dead and Buffy top the chart once more this month, with the new Magic The Gathering and Conan titles taking the next two spots, Fatale holding strong and the new Star Wars book, Dawn of The Jedi, looks to be a genuine hit. Rob Kirkman’s new book Thief of Thieves and a new Stephen King adaptation also score high, with kids comic Adventure Time also launching very well.

134 indie books charted this month, 2 down on last month. The bottom book sold 4,270, over 1,500 up on last month. In total those books sold approximately 1,257,329, well up on last month’s 1,052,459 with fewer titles. Average sales are 9,389 per book, also up on last month’s 7,739. As usual, UK and European sales from Diamond UK are not reported in this chart.

This month IDW were the number three publisher, thanks to the first two issues of Magic the Gathering, with 6.66% dollar share and a 5.62 market share, followed by Image with 5.53% dollar share and 4.88% market share, Dark Horse with a 4.98% dollar share and a 4.06% market share, Dynamite with a 4.20% dollar share and a 3.82% market share and Boom with 1.61% dollar share and 1.40% market share. Everyone but Boom was up for the month.

Almost a thousand more copies sold this month, as the sales sensation rumbles on. All the trade paperbacks charted again in the GN chart, and all in the top 150, meaning that 10% of the top 150 are Walking Dead books.

68. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Dark Horse)

02/2008: Buffy the Vampire Slayer #11 - 88,070

02/2012: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #6 - 29,878 (-0.9%)

Finally found its post-Whedon level, and causing some controversy with its current abortion storyline.

69, 86. Magic The Gathering (IDW)

02/2012: Magic The Gathering #1 - 28,858
02/2012: Magic The Gathering #2 - 23,849 (-17.4%)

A very strong launch, no doubt helped by limited edition MTG cards bundled with every issue, supplanting the Turtles as IDW’s top book.

99. Conan (Dark Horse)

02/2007: Conan #37 - 25,532
02/2008: Conan #49 - 21,690

01/2012: The Road of Kings #12 - 10,727 (-2.1%)
02/2012: Conan the Barbarian #1 - 20,569 (+91.8%)

A very good relaunch, as Brian Wood & Becky Cloonan take the creative reins.

100, 270. Fatale (Image)

01/2012: Fatale #1 - 20,515 (26,021)
02/2012: Fatale #2 - 20,315 (-1.0%)

Almost no drop-off for the second issue, as the first issue’s second and third printings chart again with over 5,500 copies. A fourth printing is coming, along with a second printing of issue two.

106, 118. Star Wars Dawn of The Jedi (Dark Horse)

02/2012: Dawn O/T Jedi Force Storm #0 - 17,260
02/2012: Dawn O/T Jedi Force Storm #1 - 18,797 (+8.9%)

This appears to have been a sizeable fan hit, covering the period of the current Star Wars MMORPG, Galaxies. Both issues have had second printings, which is very rare for Star Wars books.

107, 129. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ongoing (IDW)

08/2011: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ongoing #1 - 34,803 (39,180)
09/2011: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ongoing #2 - 19,333 (-44.4%)

02/2012: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ongoing #7 - 18,769 (0%)
02/2012: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro Series #3 Donatello - 15,617

Very stable indeed, with the first collection of this new series charting at number 10, with sales of 2,739.

112. Thief of Thieves (Image)

02/2012: Thief of Thieves #1 - 17,877

After a recent run of less than stellar new titles (saleswise anyways), Robert Kirkmann seems to have a hit on his hands to match Walking Dead and Invincible. It’s been pretty well reviewed and as with most Image debut issues, has a second print out.

117. Angel & Faith (Dark Horse)

02/2007: Auld Lang Syne #4 - 6,371
02/2008: After the Fall #4 - 48,407
02/2009: After the Fall #17 - 32,842

01/2012: Angel & Faith #6 - 17,800 (-3.0%)
02/2012: Angel & Faith #7 - 17,852 (+0.3%)

Along with Buffy this seem to have found its level, even slightly up-swinging.

122. The Boys (Dynamite)

02/2008: The Boys #15 - 28,347
02/2009: The Boys #27 - 25,982 (-3.1%)

01/2012: The Boys #62 - 16,700 (-1.9%)
02/2012: The Boys #63 - 16,629 (-0.4%)

Very flat as it heads towards the end. Nine issues to go, I think.

127. Stephen King Joe Hill Road Rage (IDW)

02/2012: Stephen King Joe Hill Road Rage #1 - 16,066

An adaptation of the father & son’s short story, with an adaptation of King’s Duel to follow. It’s had a second print, largely due to some strong press coverage.

128. Archie (Archie)

01/2012: Archie #629 - 15,906 (-8.0%)
02/2012: Archie #630 - 15,838 (-0.4%)

The Kiss crossover finishes very strongly, and this is no doubt the last we’ll see of Archie this high up the charts for a while.

Twho issues this month, one a bit up, the other a bit down, but stable overall. The new hardcover collection charts at number 38, with sales of 1,479.

134. Star Trek Legion of Superheroes (IDW)

10/2011: Star Trek Legion of Superheroes #1 - 20,950
11/2011: Star Trek Legion of Superheroes #2 - 17,782 (-15.1%)
12/2011: Star Trek Legion of Superheroes #3 - 15,952 (-10.3%)
01/2012: Star Trek Legion of Superheroes #4 - 15,004 (-5.9%)
02/2012: Star Trek Legion of Superheroes #5 - 14,381 (-4.2%)

The penultimate issue, still dropping but overall pretty decent sales.

141. Star Wars Crimson Empire III (Dark Horse)

10/2011: Crimson Empire III #1 - 19,095
11/2011: Crimson Empire III #2 - 14,524 (-23.9%)
12/2011: Crimson Empire III #3 - 13,814 (-4.9%)
02/2012: Crimson Empire III #4 - 13,666 (-1.0%)
145. Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic (Dark Horse)

02/2012: Knights Of The Old Republic War #2 - 13,318 (-17.7%)

01/2012: Agent O/T Empire Iron Eclipse #2 - 12,675 (-19.3%)
02/2012: Agent O/T Empire Iron Eclipse #3 - 12,442 (-1.8%)

The rest of the Star Wars Universe is pretty flat, bar the relatively standard second issue drop on KoTOR.

151. Game of Thrones (Dynamite)

09/2011: Game of Thrones #1 - 20,888
10/2011: Game of Thrones #2 - 16,094 (-22.9%)
11/2011: Game of Thrones #3 - 15,983 (-0.7%)
12/2011: Game of Thrones #4 - 14,514 (-9.2%)
01/2012: Game of Thrones #5 - 13,096 (-9.8%)
02/2012: Game of Thrones #6 - 12,448 (-5.0%)

Less of a drop than the last couple of months, it’ll be interesting to see whether the second series of the TV show gives it a boost.

153. Adventure Time (Boom)

02/2012: Adventure Time #1 - 12,392

This has been a huge hit for Boom, with every issue so far sold out before release and going to multiple printings. It caught a lot of retailers out, as the cartoon series it’s based on is almost unknown unless you have young kids (or an acquaintance on the production staff in my case). With many retailers being in their 40s and 50s, it flew under a lot of retailer’s radar.

154. BPRD (Dark Horse)

02/2008: 1946 #2 - 16,213
02/2009: Black Goddess #2 (of 5) - 15,120
02/2010: King of Fear #2 - 13,123

01/2012: Hell on Earth: Russia #5 - 10,244 (-2.6%)
02/2012: Hell on Earth: Long Death #1 - 12,258 (+19.7%)

That’s the biggest first issue increase for a long time, possibly reflective of the renewed appreciation it seems to be getting critically, and maybe the new omnibus collections of the early volumes.

01/2012: Chew #23 - 12,012 (-2.3%)
02/2012: Chew #24 - 11,861 (-1.3%)

After a year of up and down stability, Chew seems to have started a downward heading, if a creeping one.

161. Transformers More Than Meets The Eye (IDW)

01/2012: Transformers More Than Meets Eye Ongoing #1 - 15,340
02/2012: Transformers More Than Meets Eye Ongoing #2 - 11,671 (-24.0%)
162. Transformers Robots In Disguise (IDW)

01/2012: Transformers Robots In Disguise Ongoing #1 - 12,234
02/2012: Transformers Robots In Disguise Ongoing #2 - 11,655 (-4.7%)

Despite More Than Meets The Eye selling more of it’s debut issue the two books come into harmony with these second issues selling only 16 copies difference.

163.Star Trek Ongoing (IDW)

09/2011: Star Trek Ongoing #1 - 15,943
10/2011: Star Trek Ongoing #2 - 13,198 (-17.2%)

01/2012: Star Trek Ongoing #5 - 12,178 (-4.5%)
02/2012: Star Trek Ongoing #6 - 11,616 (-4.6%)

It’s not stabilizing that fast, but with a second film coming next year you’d think IDW have an eye on the collection market.

02/2012: Darkness #99 - 5,893 (+10.9%)
02/2012: Darkness #100 - 11,363 (+92.8%)

Sales almost double for the post-Artifacts relaunch, with Jackie Estacado as a husband and father. I suspect that status quo will be disrupted quite soon.

Some rather hefty drops for the new and excellent creative team of Joe Casey and Nathan Fox, but probably above what those two would sell for a book of their own. Of course they have stealthily turned a hippy James Bond into the star of the book…

168. Danger Girl (IDW)

01/2012: Danger Girl Revolver #1 - 19,169
02/2012: Danger Girl Revolver #2 - 10,870 (-43.3%)

Quite a nasty drop, but it was probably punching above its weight with those first issue sales.

The two books are selling almost the same numbers now, it’ll be interesting to see whether the movie’s enormous flop harms sales.

01/2012: Peanuts #1 - 11,994 (-47.0%)

Maybe leveling out, but only two issues to go.

174. Lord of the Jungle (Dynamite)

01/2012: Lord of the Jungle #1 - 25,212
02/2012: Lord of the Jungle #2 - 10,525 (-58.3%)

I forgot to mention/didn’t notice last month that the first issue of this was a dollar book, so the enormous drop on the second issue is to be expected.

176. King Conan Phoenix On The Sword (Dark Horse)

01/2012: Phoenix On The Sword #1 - 11,338
02/2012: Phoenix On The Sword #2 - 10,185 (-10.2%)

This book is shedding readers increasingly quickly, although a spin-off has just launched. The first collection charts at 31, with sales of 1,646.

01/2012: Vampirella #13 - 10,176 (-5.1%)
02/2012: Vampirella #14 - 9,851 (-3.2%)

Still not really stable, but you’d think Dynamite will be happy for a while yet with 5 of their second-tier titles charting within a thousand of each other.

180. Lobster Johnson The Burning Hand (Dark Horse)

01/2012: The Burning Hand #1 - 12,004
02/2012: The Burning Hand #2 - 9,837 (-18.1%)

02/2012: Kevin Smith's Bionic Man #7 - 8,873 (-8.0%)

It looked like it might be stabilizing, and then dropped right off again.

02/2012: Morning Glories #16 - 9,260 (-3.2%)

Dropping a little fast, as Nick Spencer throws time-travel into his already very convoluted puzzlebook.

187. Army of Darkness (Dynamite)

02/2012: Army of Darkness #1 - 9,164

A new ongoing for the boomstick-wielder, although a rather low launch figure, particularly considering Dynamite’s history of big second issue drops.

02/2012: Infestation 2 Dungeons & Dragons #2 - 7,057
02/2012: Infestation 2 Team Up One Shot #1 - 5,129

Diminishing returns, as IDW’s zombie crossover returns for a second run-around and much lower sales than last time.

02/2012: Real American Hero #175 - 8,777 (-1.7%)
02/2012: Real American Hero Annual #1 - 7,573 (-13.7%)

Drifting back down again after last month’s little rise. The annual does pretty well compared to the main book.

194. Garth Ennis Ninjettes(Dynamite)

02/2012: Ninjettes #1 - 8,646

A spin-off from Jennifer Blood, presenting the not tremendously serious origin story of the teenage ninjas that died bloodily in an early issue of that series.

195. Warriors of Mars (Dynamite)

02/2012: Warriors of Mars #1 - 8,550

Dynamite twist EL Arnold’s Gullivar character into the same timeline as their John Carter books, taking further advantage of the public domain status of the character.

202. Red Sonja Witchblade (Dynamite)

02/2012: Red Sonja Witchblade #1 - 8,336

Selling more than Red Sonja but not much less than Witchblade, Dynamite will no doubt be quite happy with these sales.

This book is still suffering some big monthly drops, I suspect there may be a relaunch upcoming.

207. Glory (Image)

02/2012: Glory #23 - 8,067

Rob Liefeld’s third Extreme relaunch starts better than last month’s Prophet, with the awesome Ross Campbell on art. This is another one with a second print.

02/2012: Dark Horse Presents #9 - 7,751 (-2.3%)

Two issues this month, and it seems to be holding the gains from last month.

01/2012: Green Hornet Annual #2 - 5,226 (-35.0%)
02/2012: Green Hornet #22 - 7,789 (-3.2%)

Slowly dropping off.

12/2011: Irredeemable #32 - 8,612 (+4.7%)
01/2012: Irredeemable #33 - 7,923(-8.0%)
02/2012: Irredeemable #34 - 7,772(-1.9%)

Mark Waid has called time on this and Incorruptible, although it’s had a fairly decent run.

216. GFT Alice In Wonderland (Zenescope)

01/2012: GFT Alice In Wonderland #1 - 11,317
02/2012: GFT Alice In Wonderland #2 - 7,659 (-32.3%)

That’s a rather hefty drop, but it brings it into line sales wise with the rest of the GFT titles.

01/2012: Artifacts Origins One Shot - 5,988 (-4.4%)
02/2012: Artifacts #14 - 7,630 (-29.2%)

Wow, I wasn’t expecting that much of a drop for the first issue of the ongoing run. It shipped pretty early in the month as well, so there’s no chance that sales have slipped to next month.

218, 243. Simpsons Comics (Bongo)

02/2012: Ralph Wiggum Comics #1 - 7,586
02/2012: Simpsons Comics #187 - 6,800 (+2.4%)

The Ralph Wiggum one-shot does very well, otherwise, stable.

221. Spongebob Comics (Bongo)

01/2012: -
02/2012: Spongebob Comics #7 - 7,573 (+3.3%)

As so many kids comics seem to do, this creeps back up after a drop last month.

222. Lady Death (Avatar)

====

03/2011: Lady Death #3 - 10,801 (-2.1%)

01/2012: Lady Death #13 - 7,132 (-2.1%)
02/2012: Lady Death #14 - 7,562 (+6.0%)

A decent jump up, for no apparent reason that I can see.

01/2012: Godzilla Legends #3 - 8,012 (-5.4%)

01/2012: The Strange Talent of Luther Strode #4 - 7,288 (-0.3%)
02/2012: The Strange Talent of Luther Strode #5 - 7,415 (+1.7%)

Very healthy indeed, a second series is coming and the trade is out only a few weeks after the sixth issue.

228. The Strain (Dark Horse)

12/2012: The Strain #1 - 16,023
01/2012: The Strain #2 - 7,650 (-52.3%)
02/2012: The Strain #3 - 7,384 (-3.5%)

This seems to be settling down nicely, although it’s selling less than I would have expected.

01/2012: Kirby Genesis Dragonsbane #1 - 6,675
02/2012: Kirby Genesis Dragonsbane #2 - 4,931 (-26.1%)

None of these are doing very well, I’d be surprised if any of them get to their tenth issues. I’d be surprised if Dragonsbane gets to its fifth issue to be honest…

232. Dungeons and Dragons Drizzt (IDW)

08/2011: Dungeons & Dragons Drizzt #1 - 9,855
09/2011: Dungeons & Dragons Drizzt #2 - 8,328 (-15.5%)

01/2012: Flash Gordon Zeitgeist #2 - 8,611 (-52.9%)

Fairly big drops, but it’s early days yet.

02/2012: Doctor Who Vol. 2 #14 - 7,175 (+0.3%)

Very stable, and a slight increase this month.

235. The Lone Ranger (Dynamite)

====

01/2012: The Lone Ranger #1 - 9,635

02/2012: Red Sonja #63 - 7,095 (-0.9%)
02/2012: Red Sonja #64 - 6,977 (-1.7%)

Relatively stable at the moment, as the double-shipping to catch up continues.

Surprisingly low sales, below even the first issue of Cold War, and far below the end of the last series. I believe there are only 5 issues till it finishes.

01/2012: -
02/2012: Rasl #13 - 6,319 (-3.3%)

Slowly drifting down, but I think there may only be a few more issues to go. I think it’s safe to say it hasn’t quite caught on in the way that Bone did, but I think Smith wanted to do something a bit smaller.

252. No Place Like Home (Image)

02/2012: No Place Like Home #1 - 6,258

This horror riff on Wizard of Oz has had some decent reviews, and as with most Image number ones has had a second print.

Cancelled as of issue thirty, as Mark Waid’s stretched a bit thin at the moment.

Ouch, that’s a big drop, for no apparent reason.

Slowly drifting down, there’s a bit more life in this title, but probably not too much more.

257. Prophet (Image)

01/2012: Prophet #21 - 6,029
02/2012: Prophet #22 - 6,030 (0%)

Excellent word-of-mouth means this book stays perfectly stable for its second issue, and another second print.

258. Ferals (Avatar)

01/2012: Ferals #1 - 7,802
02/2012: Ferals #2 - 6,008 (-23.0%)

A standard second issue drop for this somewhat confusing Werewolf book.

Archie’s first gay character gets his own ongoing series, taking Veronica’s place in the publishing schedule. Obviously this gets mass-market distribution, and the general disapproval of various American religious groups.

02/2012: Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes #4 - 4,732 (-3.9%)

Less of a drop for the main book this month, and the last issue of Betrayal. A proposed sequel has been canned, apparently over licensing issues.

273. Alpha Girl (Image)

02/2012: Alpha Girl #1 - 5,433

Less of a drop than the last few months, but it hasn’t been solicited this month.

277. Dicks Color Ed (Avatar)

02/2012: Dicks Color Ed #1 - 5,099

I think this is the third or fourth reprint of Ennis & McCrea’s semi-sequel to the classic Troubled Souls. Now there’s a book that needs reprinting.

278. Grimm Fairy Tales The Library (Zenescope)

285. Peter Panzerfaust (Image)

02/0212: Peter Panzerfaust #1 - 4,814

This is one of Image’s debuts that was hyped up and got a second print, but has not fared so well critically. It’s still been turned from a mini to an ongoing series.

Despite some ups and down this book has been very stable over the last year, this issue only a hundred copies down on the same month in 2011.

293. Murky World (Dark Horse)

02/2012: Murky World One Shot - 4,535

A collection of Richard Corben’s series from Dark Horse Presents.

01/2012: The Balance Lost #7 - 4,603 (-6.6%)
02/2012: The Balance Lost #8 - 4,437 (-3.6%)

This has been turned into a twelve-issue series now, which isn’t really surprising.

01/2012: Rachel Rising #5 - 4,180 (8592) (-5.3%)

The rest of this issue’s sales turn up. Sales are down a bit, but it’s just had a five page preview of the first issue in Walking Dead, so I expect a bit of a jump in the next couple of months.

297. Valen The Outcast (Boom!)

12/2011: Valen The Outcast #1 - 14,343
01/2012: Valen The Outcast #2 - 4,926 (-65.6%)
02/2012: Valen The Outcast #3 - 4,411 (-10.5%)

This one is still being solicited, but I can’t see it lasting too long at these sales levels.

299. PC Cast House of Night (Dark Horse)

11/2011: PC Cast House of Night #1 - 13,860
12/2011: PC Cast House of Night #2 - 5,315 (-61.6%)
01/2012: PC Cast House of Night #3 - 4,677 (-12.0%)
02/2012: PC Cast House of Night #4 - 4,270 (-8.7%)

This really hasn’t done very well for Dark Horse, but you’d think the collection will do better in the book market.

======

All figures on this chart are estimates for comics sold by Diamond to direct market retailers. They include reorders that shipped in the same month. Books shipping in the first week of a month will have more time for reorders to appear than ones shipping in the last week of the month, when reorders will slip to the following month.

  1. Exile on the Planet of the Apes was cancelled? I actually got the first issue only about 4 weeks ago…hadnt heard they bagged it.

  2. Is this the first month that Boom! hasn’t had any titles based on Disney properties? That could explain their lack of sales growth relative to everyone else.

  3. So many of these books deserve wider audiences. Fatale should be on everyone’s reading list, and Peter Panzerfaust is getting some deservedly great reviews. I don’t see Blue Estate listed, so I assume sales are pretty low. Too bad as it’s one of the best crime comics out now. Seriously Image keeps knocking it out of the park.

  4. I love Adventure Time. I don’t have any kids but I do have cats. And a rabbit. The variant covers and price kept me away from the comic however. Good to see it and so many others doing well though. This is the most upbeat Indie sales chart.. ever?

I haven’t made up my mind on Thief of Thieves yet since not much has happened besides flashbacks. I’ll have to check out Conan the Barbarian. I’ve glimpsed other series in the past but they never grabbed me. After doing a quick search on this new iteration I think I might give it a try. Anybody on here read it yet?

  5. Adventure Time is both my favorite TV show and favorite comic book. The comic is written by the dude who writes Dinosaur Comics, one of the funniest comics on the web.

Finding Adventure Time is near impossible. The staff at Jim Hanley’s in Manhattan told me they sell out within a few hours of the book arriving. A guy at a Galaxy Comics in Brooklyn said it’s not available through Diamond. All I know is this is comparable to finding Oz when Eric Shanowar was doing that as a series.

  6. I’m 99.9% sure your wrong about the POTA Exile mini. They have been avertising it in the regular series (among other places). And no other news site has mentioned it’s cancelled. But if you are right? I’ll start crying! haha… I am liking the minis even more than the ongoing – and even more than the Adventure Comics output… and that, for me, is saying alot! :)

  7. Kirkman just cant get the ball rolling on any of his new series. He’s turning into a one hit wonder (well, 2 if you count Invincible, but it is no where near as popular).
What I dont understand is why he hasn’t put out more content? I know he said he wouldn’t, but wasn’t that years ago? – let it go already! I would love to see other artists(and select writers) work on this Zombie world. Or if for some god unknown reason, he does want to stick with his word – have the regular series have back up stories! Just as a trial at first! Make it happen Kirkman!

Ok, thats the end of my rant! :)

  8. @Chris Hero – The guy at Galaxy Comics is incorrect, it’s mainly available through Diamond I believe. Boom have done multiple printings of every issue so far, with issue 3 shipping next week, so it should be a bit easier to find from now on. Any shortages have largely been down to under-ordering from the retailers.

@PeterCSM730 – I’m really enjoying Conan so far, it’s worth a go even if you’ve not been so keen on previous versions. Becky’s art is lovely. You’re mising a treat by avoiding Adventure Time though!

@James – I can understand Kirkman’s reluctance to let other creators have a go at Walking Dead, there are many other creator owned-series that have become diluted through too much exposure (Poison Elves in particular springs to mind).

  9. It appears it’s Terror on the Planet of the Apes that has been shelved. Issues 1 and 2 are cancelled with TBD on the schedule.

Exile POTA is still scheduled to ship the final three issues. (so far anyway)

  10. @Matthew – I did say “2 hit wonder” if you count Invincible. How much more popular can it get? – Walking Dead more than doubles it. Which is why I was suggesting extra output for The Walking Dead! ;)

@Goggles – Glad to see it was the Terror series that got canned. I refused to buy/order it because they were charging $4 for a reprint book!?! Which, to me, is just extremely greedy! – Besides, I already had the first 4 issues that Adventure reprinted in the 90’s! I’d consider buying it in trades if they make it… :)

  11. I find Thief of Thieves rather boring so I’m dropping it. Too bad Near Death–a much better crime book–isn’t even charting (unless this was a month it wasn’t out).

  12. For Transformers: Robots In Disguise, a fair few retailers didn’t get issue one on the week of release.

So there’s a few thousand copies unaccounted for, and probably weren’t enough to chart again.

I suspect it was extremely close to More Than Meets The Eyes sales.

Both also got a second print, which again, probably failed to chart.

  13. @ron
I agree with you Ron, some of the best comic books every written in the history of comics are on this list, and shame on the LCS for promoting junk like the new DC 52 instead of these well written independents. The future of the hobby is here in these independents, and I applaud comicsbeat for publishing this sales list.

    respectfully “Stam”

  14. Thief of Thieves is a great book along the lines of Criminal and the Last Days of American Crime.

And I’d just like to say that Locke & Key is the best book being published right now. The collected HC are an AMAZING way to read the story. Can’t wait for Clockworks HC to come out.
