Halloween ComicFest 2019, the spookiest event in the industry, just announced its lineup for the year. There’s a wide range of full size and mini comics for all ages and from a large selection of publishers, totaling up to 28 available books. More importantly, all of them are free for attendees. Sponsors want to make sure these comics are for everyone.
“This year’s Halloween ComicFest is poised to be bigger and better than last year!” said Halloween ComicFest spokesperson Ashton Greenwood. “The comics available this year are designed to appeal to a broad range of tastes, from the all-ages Mini Comics featuring popular properties like Archie, DC Superhero Girls, Nickelodeon’s The Loud House, and Pokémon, while the Full-Size Comics feature well-known characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, Boba Fett, Iron Man, and Batman. Halloween ComicFest is the perfect time to discover the wonders of comic shops and experience them as premiere destinations for Halloween fun!”
Halloween ComicFest 2019 takes place in select comic shops around the country on October 26. While you’re there, you can even get ready for trick-or-treaters. In lieu of (or in addition to) candy, why not give out comics? Available alongside the free books will be packs of 25 mini comics for $4.99 each – pretty sweet deal.
