Although we and many others have been touting this weekend’s WonderCon in Anaheim as the anti-Comic-Con—a SoCal show where you can just kick back and wander in and out and not worry about hassles—it’s popular enough to have sold out ahead of the actual show:
3-Day and Saturday Badges are now sold out, however Friday and Sunday badges are still available. #WonderCon

2013 Badge Purchase | Comic-Con International: San Diego:
Although there will be a few returned badges on sale, getting a ticket for Saturday is unlikely, according to the official Twitter feed.
For those who were able to plan ahead and get a badge, the show promises a full spectacle, with guests from Jim Lee to Jeff Smith to Ann Nocenti, and an amazing programming slate.
I’ll be there in Artist Alley (#208) – I admit, I’ve been a bit worried about the show. It’s Easter weekend and the weather report has talked about rain. We will see how it goes.
I did warn them that If i was gonna be a guest, the show would sell out. No one listens to me.
;]
One day… I hope… I’ll be a *guest* just to confuse convention folks with multiple “Jimmys”. Haha!
I was surprised to hear that Sirius/XM has a channel that they’re devoting (at least partially) to WonderCon coverage this weekend. If I was going to be in my car much this weekend I’d definitely give it a listen but kiddos sports and NCAA tournament games will have me away from access for a lot of it.
@Jimmie Robinson:
Other than an unlikely chance of some drizzle Thursday, the rain has been pushed back to Sunday afternoon or evening and the estimated amounts have been cut in half., The way that the forecast has been changing, the rain could easily not happen until Wonder Con is over .
@Doug – Thanks for that news. It’s good to hear that the sky will not open up.
The semantic snarkist in me feels the need to point out that any convention that has sold any tickets is “partially sold out.”
But I know what you mean.
