It probably goes without saying that Marvel Studios has been in a rough patch lately, and Phase 5 is already on shaky ground. Nevertheless, before beginning his tenure at DC Studios, filmmaker James Gunn was able to close out his stint at Marvel Studios on a high note with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. I’ll concede I was a bit on the fence when I first saw it, but I gained an better appreciation with subsequent viewings and I’m not ashamed to admit I did find myself emotionally moved.

Film Synopsis
In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits is looking a bit different these days.
