Funko is jumping from the shelf to the tabletop with the upcoming Funkoverse Strategy Board Game. Although it was announced a few weeks ago, eager fans can finally pre-order the game as of Thursday. The company’s first venture into games, Funkoverse brings together its seemingly limitless licenses to create its own universe of crossovers.

Funkoverse functions like many other strategy board games. Each turn, players can perform two actions with a unit, including moving across the board, challenging or using any of its own unique abilities. Those powers are based on a cooldown system, meaning players will have to wait a few turns before they can use them again. The stronger the power, the longer the cooldown. Since each unit is unique, players can mix and match franchises to figure out their favorite character and power combinations.

The Funkoverse board game is designed for 20-60 minute sessions of 2-4 players, ages 10-13.

When the game first hit shelves, fans will finally be able to answer the age-old question of who would win in a battle royal between Batman, Voldemort, Golden Girls’ Blanche Devereaux or Rick from Rick and Morty – if they buy every set and expansion. At launch, there will be two base sets and four expandalones, each coming with their own double-sided maps and playable characters. Two are DC themed, two are Harry Potter themed and there’s one each for Rick and Morty and Golden Girls. Base sets, like the DC Comics 100 and Harry Potter 100 come packaged with four three inch figures, while expandalones only include two figures. Both are packaged with their own tokens, items and dice as well.

Collectors should be especially interested in Funkoverse; these figures are only available as part of the base set or expansion. Thankfully, if you’re worried about not getting a set for yourself, you can secure it now through Target, Walmart or GameStop or through your local comic shop. The Funkoverse Strategy Game hits shelves officially on October 6 at $40.99 for base sets and $24.99 for expandalones.

Till then, check out the launch sets below, along with the teaser trailer released on July 19.
