On the heels of the premiere of Loki Season 2, the Walt Disney Company has released the first season of the series Collector’s Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray for fans to add to their movie collections, featuring Steelbook packaging, concept artcards and some never-before-seen bonus features.
In anticipation, clips from deleted scenes have been released including a multiversal encounter with Frog Thor!
Loki fans will recall that the fifth episode of the first season aptly titled “Journey Into Mystery” featured a cameo from Frog Thor (or Throg as he’s come to be affectionately known) imprisoned in a jar underground. A clear reference to comic creator Walter Simonson‘s acclaimed run on the Thor title, specifically Thor #365 (1985), “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, or, It’s Not Easy Being Green” that featured the God of Thunder transformed into an amphibian courtesy of his mischievous brother Loki. as the result of a trick played by Loki.
