The remake of one of the most important video games of all time finally has a release date, and it’s earlier than expected. At a concert commemorating the Final Fantasy series, Square Enix shared new details about the reimagining of Final Fantasy VII including a release date and trailer. The remake featuring modern graphics and gameplay is scheduled for March 3, 2020. However, considering the slipping release dates of Kingdom Hearts III, a delay or two wouldn’t be shocking.
When the game was first announced, Square Enix stated it would publish Final Fantasy VII in three parts. The publisher didn’t reiterate that release strategy last night, though. We’ll learn more at Square Enix’s press conference tonight. For now, you can check out the new trailer below.
