It’s morphing time! BOOM! Studios under license by Hasbro, Inc. offered up a first look at this month’s latest series, Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers: Forever Rangers #1. The oversized special brings together writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and artists Eleonora Carlini (Batgirl) and Francesco Mortarino (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers). The issue also has a main cover by Dan Mora (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and variants by Kris Anka (Runaways), Gurihiru (The Unstoppable Wasp), and Gabriel Picolo (Teen Titans: Raven)
The story begins with Alpha One finally revealing his true colors. The Rangers must work together to stop him from destroying their mentor, Zordon, but Alpha One may be one step ahead of the team. He’s been studying their strengths and weaknesses, and combining their powers may not be enough this time to save the day. Betrayal, loss, a rampaging Alpha One, and a surprise encounter between the Rangers and a certain martial artist all promise an exciting new adventure for fans. Check out a few preview pages below.
