Publisher A Wave Blue World brings the sequel to Joe Glass & Matt Miner’s GLAAD Media and Ringo Award-winning anthology, Young Men in Love! This proud new comic sequel is called Young Men in Love: New Romance and is set to be a piece that goes back to classic romance comics and is teen-appropriate!
Just like in the original first volume, the genres range from modern, eras throughout history, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and even some star-studded superheroes! With over 21 different creators coming together to develop this fantastic anthology, each of these unique and personal stories will focus on different subject material and experiences about being in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Some of the new and returning creators from the original are on this project such as, Al Ewing, Luciano Vecchio, Patricio Oliver, Jarrett Melendez, Jacoby Salcedo, Anthony Oliveira, Bradley Clayton, and so many more creatives!

What was Young Men in Love?
The original YOUNG MEN IN LOVE comic project was a 200-page anthology featuring 20 comics from queer comic creators. It was the surprising winner of a 2023 GLAAD Media Award and was abuzz with positive reception upon debut laying the groundwork for this year’s sequel.
The story originally featured tales of haphazard pirates, wayward ghosts, dashing knights, and rampaging kaiju (and down-to-earth regular joes!). These were tales assembled to amaze and delight you in a wildly unique anthology celebrating love between men, from an astounding array of comics creators who knew exactly how it felt.
