Surprise! As you’ve noticed this project isn’t necessarily focused on a comic and instead we look to one of the best things to come out of Brooklyn, The Nonbinarian Book Bike. The book bike has been operating for two years and was formed to provide access to queer representation of queer stories for people of all ages. Now they look to their community to help build their permanent home. Their entire inventory will be exclusively queer making their bookstore the first of its kind in Brooklyn. They aim to provide a year round space for their community and continue the amazing work they started with pop-up events and empower queer and trans people of all ages, especially in these time of censorship. The book bikes motto sums it up: Everyone deserves to see themselves on the shelf. Help them make that a reality.
