Vampirella fan favorite artist Joseph Michael Linsner and writer Kristina Deak-Linsner join forces to create a Vampirella story that takes the Daughter of Drakulon back-to-basics in Vampirella: Roses for the Dead hardcover. In this tale, Vampirella hunts down a sexual predator to feed her insatiable thirst for blood, but while tracking him down to a Philadelphia nightclub, Evily the Witch (and Vampi’s cousin) bars her path. The two clash, which makes any plans of catching him null and void. The pair must decide if they will work together or remain enemies.
The 120-page hardcover collects the four-issue miniseries of the same name and also features a cover by Linsner. The book is one of many items available for fans celebrating the character’s 50th anniversary this year. Dynamite has been churning out a variety of books, comics, collectibles, and more, including the wildly successful new ongoing series by Christopher Priest along with everything from enamel pins to collectible coins.
Vampirella: Roses for the Dead will be available for purchase on Wednesday September 4. Pick up your copy at your local comic shop or click on Dynamite’s website to order there.
