It’s been 15 years since beloved dystopian author Marie Lu made her debut with Legend, and to celebrate, Roaring Brook Press is releasing a graphic novel adaptation of the series’ grand finale, Rebel. Today, The Beat can reveal a sneak peek at the book, which hits shelves this fall.
Written by Lu, adapted by Kyla Vanderklugt, and illustrated by Kaari, Rebel: The Graphic Novel follows Day and his long lost love, June, after they are reunited. Their goal? To rescue Day’s younger brother, Eden, from Ross City’s nefarious influences. Here’s the full synopsis:
