A new adventure is on the way in Equestria! BOOM! will launch My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic on November 11, written by award-winning author Seanan McGuire and illustrated by beloved My Little Pony artist Amy Mebberson.

When a Pinkie Pie prank turns into a birthday cake disaster, one of Twilight Sparkle’s beloved books is ruined in the chaos. The Mane Six must set out on a quest to find a new copy of the book that Twilight Sparkle believes might hold the key to learning how to fix broken friendships.
“There is no story of my life that is not always a story about My Little Pony,” said McGuire. “I love these candy-colored horses as I have loved little else in this world, and I am honored and overjoyed to be telling part of their story, with such a talented team around me! FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC, and so are comics!”
BOOM! will also have Kayou × BOOM! × My Little Pony NYCC Exclusive Cover Cards at their booth at this year’s New York Comic-Con October 8-11
“I count myself so lucky to have been a part of My Little Pony comics for the last 12 years and have had the honor and joy of making so many new friends telling these stories together,” said Mebberson. “Now, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be teaming up with Seanan, one of my oldest, dearest friends, to keep bringing the Magic of Friendship to Boom! and comic-lovers everywhere.”
