Over the past few weeks, the pieces have come together for the Legion of Super-Heroes’s big return to the DCU via Brian Michael Bendis and Ryan Sook…first in Bendis’ and Ivan ReisUnity Saga over in Superman, the Legion dropped in to offer Jon Kent membership and we got our first tantalizing hints of what a Bendis Legion might read like (I’m already very excited about his Wildfire and Brainiac 5). And just two weeks before that, we got a look at the actual build-up to DC’s future proper in the first issue of Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium, the first real attempt to align all of DC’s disparate futures into one coherent timeline; from Batman Begins to Kamandi to Tommy Tomorrow and beyond via the newly immortal eyes of Rose & Thorn.

While the first issue was light on Legion content, by design, this second issue promises to really deliver the goods, but not before running the gamut of a few different eras and guest artists, including Jim Cheung‘s take on OMAC, Jeff Dekal‘s interstellar chapter, and Sook’s Legion debut proper. But for the purposes of this preview, and certainly not to be forgotten, is Nicola Scott‘s Booster Gold…a segment which portrays the meeting of the ever-growing weary Rose (or is it Thorn?) with a pre-superheroing Michael Carter aka Booster Gold. Below not only do you get a preview, you actually get the entire chapter to really whet your appetite.

Also, look at that Booster butt content!
