In today’s exclusive preview of I BREATHED A BODY #4 — due out April 28 from AfterShock Comics — the (body) horror continues.

Since this series launched at the start of the year, it’s been one of the more fascinating monthly comics within the direct market, seeking as it does to mash-up Silicon Valley tech/business culture, body horror, and just general societal darkness. It’s been a surprising and singular book, and in these four interior pages we’re unveiling today, all of that continues, courtesy of the creative team of writer Zac Thompson, artist Andy MacDonald, colorist Triona Farrell, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elahou.

  1. This looks pretty interesting, I love the cover art. I don’t know where this comic is going or what the concept is, but I’m hooked. The character designs are all so different and interesting, I genuinely want to know the background of each one. On top of that, this looks like it might have elements of cosmic horror or possibly even sci-fi horror, which are both dark genres I love. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this work.
