Time to update that distribution scorecard yet again: DSTLRY is going exclusive with Diamond it was announced today

DSTLRY, the up and comer publishing company with an innovative model for ownership and digital collectibles,  launched last year with their anthology THE DEVIL’S CUT, and has since received an Eisner nomination for SOMNA by Becky Cloonan and Tula Lotay.

UPDATE: to be clear, DSTLRY was previously distributed by Lunar Distribution as well as Diamond. They were not exclusive with Lunar, as our phrasing suggested.

This exclusive starts on the FOC for July 15th, with LIFE #1 (JUN241584) by Brian Azzarello, Stephanie Phillips, and Danijel Žeželj – in September DSTLRY moves into Diamond’s Deluxe Tier of publishers, ensuring expanded coverage in the PREVIEWS catalog and on the PREVIEWSworld website.

“Diamond has more than 40 years of expertise in ensuring comics and graphic novels are available every Wednesday when comic book stores open. They’re continually evolving to meet the demands of the retailer, remaining an integral foundation to the comic ecosystem,” said DSTLRY co-founders Chip Mosher and David Steinberger in a joint statement. “DSTLRY could have never enjoyed the stability and success of its debut year without Diamond. Solidifying that partnership with an exclusive deal was an easy decision.”

“We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with DSTLRY  following a truly amazing first year,” said Tim Lenaghan, Chief Purchasing Officer for Geppi Family Enterprises. “They’re innovating the comic book medium in both editorial and production, and we can’t wait for retailers and fans see what they have prepared for the rest of the year and beyond.”

DSTLRY’s titles includes a stellar line-up of creator-owned comics by  Founding Creators Mirka Andolfo, Brian Azzarello, Marc Bernardin, Elsa Charretier, Becky Cloonan, Lee Garbett, Jock, Joëlle Jones, Tula Lotay, Jamie McKelvie, Junko Mizuno, Stephanie Phillips, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, and Ram V, alongside Founding Editor Will Dennis. Titles include Gone by Jock, Somna by Becky Cloonan & Tula Lotay, Blasfamous by Mirka Andolfo, White Boat by Scott Snyder & Francesco Francavilla, The Blood Brothers Mother by Brian Azzarello & Eduardo Risso, and Spectregraph by James Tynion IV & Christian Ward.

While DSTLRY publishes collected editions, their have a renewed commitment to periodical comics – although in an oversized magazine-like size.

  1. All Non-FOCed books (and there are several) from Lunar have been cancelled immediately. Stores will need to pay a lot of attention next week’s FOC and the couple after.
