§ Image Comics revealed Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar‘s Bug Wars will return with an second installment, titled Bug Wars: The Coming of The Wardoom. The eight-part series, starting August 19, picks up six months after the first, and will see Slade Slaymaker get dragged back into the tiny conflicts in his Yard, which is now facing an invasion from the Woods, and human exterminators. The first Bug Wars series ran for six issues last year, and received a one-shot, The Spyder Wytch Special, at the start of 2026.

§ BOOM! Studios shared details on Power Rangers Unlimited, revealing the series will run for 12 issues, and be written by Joey Esposito and Kenny Porter, with art by Alessio Zonno. Starting July 1, the book will team up Power Rangers from every era against a new threat. In the meantime, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers will be relaunched on June 3, and the Comics Giveaway Day release previewing all of BOOM!’s upcoming Power Rangers series, Power Rangers #0, is available now.

§ D20 Culture and Warner Bros. announced Justice League Unlimited: The Roleplaying Game, a tabletop adventure co-written by Mark Waid. Based on the current incarnation of the League by Waid and Dan Mora, the game allows players to create their own superhero who joins the league in the wake of 2024’s Absolute Power storyline. It will purportedly mark the first official TTRPG to star the team in over two decades. A crowdfunding campaign will begin on Gamefound in July.

§ Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls got a new trailer showcasing its Avengers roster, revealing its version of Black Panther/Shuri (voiced by Erica Luttrell, who played her in Crystal Dynamics’ Avengers), and a Savage Land-dwelling Hulk (the character’s longtime voice actor Fred Tatasciore). The promo also confirms Wakanda as a location, and the Champion of the Universe‘s role as a main antagonist. The fighting game will be released on the PlayStation 5 and PC on Thursday, August 6.

§ Netflix released the trailer for My 2 Cents, the latest animated series from Italian cartoonist Zerocalcare (Michele Rech). Releasing Wednesday, May 27, the show finds Zero and Cinghiale struggling to run a small bar, as “financial troubles and misunderstandings put them both under pressure — just as a figure from the past returns.” The show marks the third cartoon created by and starring Zerocalcare for Netflix, following 2021’s Tear Along the Dotted Line, and 2023’s This World Can’t Tear Me Down.

§ New York’s Brooklyn Museum will host Art of Manga, an exhibit billed as the first major one about Japanese comics in the Americas. It will run from October 3, 2026, to January 31, 2027, and feature over 600 pieces of original artwork from books like Inuyasha, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Ooku: The Inner Chambers, and One Piece. The exhibit was previously held at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco from September 27, 2025, to February 1, 2026.

§ In further museum news, Variety shares the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art‘s inaugural exhibits will include manga, anime, and American and European comics, including works by Mœbius, Marie Severin, Jack Kirby, Alison Bechdel, Jim Lee, Frank Miller and Sonambulo creator Rafael Navarro. The museum, founded by George Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson, will open in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 22.

§ Finally, the partner of the late Dave Taylor is auctioning original artwork from the 2000 AD strip “Megatropolis.” Taylor, who was best known for his work on 2000 AD and Batman, passed away last year, aged 60 or 61. His widow, Pauline, is now selling his art so their daughter, Hannah, can afford to attend university. Fans interested in acquiring pages can contact Taylor’s Facebook account via Messenger.
