DC Super Hero Girls has currently been airing reruns for the past few weeks, but fear not for new episodes return in May on Cartoon Network!
Sunday, May 12
4 p.m. (ET/PT) DC Super Hero Girls “#Beeline” When she stumbles across a villainous plot to blow up a bridge, Bumblebee shies from the challenge of taking on the baddies and reaches out to her friends.
Sunday, May 19
4 p.m. (ET/PT) DC Super Hero Girls “#SuperWho?” Overwhelmed by the amount of Superman coverage in Metropolis, Supergirl decides to get out there and really show the city what she can do.
Sunday, May 26
4 p.m. (ET/PT) DC Super Hero Girls “#ShockItToMe” Leslie Willis, the meanest girl in school, becomes a social media sensation by posting mean-spirited videos on her MetropoVids channel, causing Wonder Woman to question the moral integrity of the people who live in the World of Man.
Though we’ve only glimpsed them in episodes and shorts, based on episode descriptions and already released footage it appears we’ll finally see the “DC Villain Girls” make their debut. In case you need a refresher, the villains and their respective voice actresses as revealed by Lauren Faust on social media are:
Cree Summer — Catwoman
Cristina Milizia — Poison Ivy
Mallory Low — Livewire
Tara Strong — Harley Quinn
Grey Griffin — Giganta
Kari Wahlgren — Star Sapphire
If you’ve been reading DC Super Hero Girls: Weird Science digital comic you may have caught the villains in their high school civilian guises.
Plus it’s a clash of cousins when Superman shows up in an upcoming episode. If it’s any thing like Faust’s earlier Super Best Friends Forever short we’re in for a treat!
From the episodes I’ve seen I thought Barbara and Harley were friends.
