In the upcoming Electronic Arts game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, to be released November 15, 2019, players will be able to experience the all-new (and in-canon) story of a Padawan named Cal Kestis. A survivor of Order 66, the Emperor’s attempt to purge the galaxy of the Jedi, Cal is embarking on a mission to rebuild the Jedi Order as he works to hone the skills developed during his own incomplete training.

Just a few days after the game is released, on November 20, Dark Horse Books is releasing The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, an oversized hardcover that provides an in-depth look at the creative development of this exciting new chapter in the Jedi saga.

Not only does the game feature some familiar locales and lore, including the Second Sister of the Empire’s terrifying Inquisitors, but it will also introduce new characters, worlds, stormtroopers, and technology to the Star Wars universe.

The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the process of bringing these places and characters to life, featuring full-color art from throughout the development of the game along with commentary by the artists detailing the creative process. In addition to new planets like Bracca and new characters like droid companion BD-1, appearances by familiar characters related to the Jedi Order have been teased, so both fans of the game and general Jedi enthusiasts are likely to find something to be excited about between the covers of this oversized tome.
