After releasing two volumes of a Creepshow anthology comic two years in a row, it shouldn’t come as a shock that Skybound has announced that the fan-favorite series will return for a third helping this September.
As The Beat itself has praised in its review, “The Creepshow series of comics have been an opportunity for a variety of creators to indulge in short horror stories with grotesque imagery, shocking twists, and all the other things one loves from reading old EC Comics.”
The previous two volumes feature all-star creative teams and this new volume is no exception. The first issue of the new volume will showcase stories Chip Zdarsky, Kagan McLeod, and James Stokoe. Other creators in this new volume will include John Ridley, Mike Carey, Jorge Fornés, John Arcudi, Ed Brisson, Stefano Raffaele, Chris Condon, many more.

Today Skybound and Image Comics announced a third volume of Creepshow, the hugely popular comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment.
Creepshow Volume 3 #1, featuring stories by comics talent Chip Zdarsky (Batman), Kagan McLeod (Kaptara), and James Stokoe (Godzilla), will arrive in comic book shops on September 25, 2024.

Each issue of the five-part anthology will feature different creative teams from the worlds of comics, books, film, television, and beyond. Every uniquely horrifying standalone story is guaranteed to SCARE YOU TO DEATH.
In the debut issue of the third volume, writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Kagan McLeod bring you the terrifying tale of a repressed housewife who decides to take matters into her own hands and rescue her daughter from a local psychedelic cult…but the true terror is not what anyone expects! Then, James Stokoe introduces a chilling mystery of a severed human hand, and the lengths one writer will go to discover the truth, learning that perhaps he is not the author of this story….
In addition to the main cover by Martín Morazzo and Chris O’Halloran (Ice Cream Man), Creepshow Vol. 3 #1 comes with an impressive lineup of variant covers, including an open to order cover by James Stokoe and the launch of a set of 1:10 incentive connecting covers by Steve Beach (Action Comics).
